Ben is a Strategist and former Video Producer living in New York City.

I love stories and good storytelling. As a kid, I was the annoying friend who had seen every movie at the video store. As an adult, I’m the guy recommending that book or movie you haven’t heard of – but that you’ll end up loving.

So where have I come from? Well, I’ve worked as a Video Producer for a variety of premiere brands such as MTV News, The Atlantic, 360i, Logo, SYFY and more. I’ve overseen all sorts of interesting projects – from producing a large-scale production on the top of a Miami hotel with the Bad Girls Club, to interviewing the youngest person to march with Martin Luther King Jr. at Selma, to interviewing furries who fell in love. I’ve told stories big and small. All of them required skilled research, effective project management, and a deep knowledge of the technical aspects of production. More importantly, they required empathy, and the ability to understand people so I could tell their story. Now I’m looking for a role in strategy that gives me the ability to put those same skills to work in advertising campaigns. So I can help brands tell their stories.

I grew up near Boston, paying keyboards in jazz and “jam” bands. I’ve been in New York for 14 years and have always lived in the lovely borough of Brooklyn. I enjoy playing music, doing improv, and enjoying all that New York has to offer. I make a fantastic peanut stew, and if you play your cards right, I’ll give you the recipe.
